Our dear friend Shuttlecock (Jon) was lost yesteday, August 12th, 2013. He was riding his bicycle in Memorial Park when he was hit by a car. Please keep him and his family in your prayers. Services will be announced.

I am deeply saddened. Did God blink and let this happen to our Shuttlecock?
i just found out about the passing of shuttlecock. what a terrible and tragic loss to his natural family and his hash family. once again we are reminded in the most tragic way that tomorrow is promised to no one. each day, we are all blessed with 86,400 seconds. none of which can be replaced. and for most people there is no way of knowing when when the final one is approaching. so live your lives to the fullest. enjoy what you have and feel blessed that you were able to meet so many wonderful, interesting people in the hash. when jon and all of the other fallen hashers passed away, there was a little something that was suddenly missing from our lives. but the fond memories will always remain. thank you shuttlecock for being a good friend, a member of the h4 family, an incredibly clever and funny dude, and in the finest hash tradition, a real smart ass. you will be greatly missed. on on buddy ,,,,peterbilt.
