The 10th Anniversary!!
Yes, Hashers! It's been 10 years since the original "On the Rag, Drag Hash" was first started. For those who don't know, the OTR Hash is a women's only hash. The OTR runs the 28th of every month, men dare not attend. The only time men are allowed is if the come in DRAG. Thus 10 years ago, Cocker got together with the rest of the OTR and decided for Halloween, they'd invite the men... and a tradition was started. Yes, only in HOUSTON, Texas!
The '98 OTR Drag Hash was hared by Gas Light, Stop n Blow, and Sperminator! And, what night it was! First let me brag on the Hares and the Houston Hash. FOR $10, yes $10!!... you got a run, all the beer you could drink and food (red beans & rice), and a dance floor and DJ... Oh and did I mention "All the Beer you could dring"!... for $10.
The run was held in The Montrose, where else. The run was only about a mile long, snaking thru "The Hood!"... As far as I know, the whole bunch of cross-dressed Heterosexual's made it to the end with anal virginity in tack! The OnOn and OnOnOn was at the now defunct Jackson Street Bar. We ran by the Montrose area Houston Police station, I'm was sure, they'd see more than we had to offer. Heartache, who showed up late, ran the trail by himself, was stopped by the Police and scolded for no having proper ID.
