H4 Run #2534— Scotland the Brave November 30 @ 2:00 PM
2p Show
2:30p GO!

Start: Cleveland Park (200 Jackson Hill St. Houston 77007)
*Meet on Scotland St.

Sunday 30 November, Scotland's National Day, and Saint Andrew's Day.

A wonderful extravaganza of a Hash, set by your Hares Rain Bitch (descended from Clan Barclay – motto Aut Agere Aut Mori – Either Do or Die) and Happy Dangler (descended from Norman family de Monhaut, became the Mowats of Buchan & Brechin, part of Clan Sutherland – motto Sans Peur – No Fear).

Start will be on Scotland Street, at Cleveland Park. Park on the Park side of the street (duh!) not on the townhouses side (don't piss off the neighbours) or round the corner on Jackson Hill Street or Snover Street. Turkey (since it's Thanksgiving weekend)/Eagle split and Walkers' trail all provided. Probably. At least one beer check, as well as a brief introduction to one of Houston's most recent architectural, artistic and social marvels, of global renown. Prizes may (or may not) be available for this Hashers who identify the marvel and its sponsor.

A mystery third hare might show up to provide some scintillating Scottish musical entertainment – traffic, hangover, hemp and beeswax permitting.

Despite McP's best efforts, regrettably no sheep will be available for Hashers to service – unless you want to bring your own to share. Please just clip off the dingleberries first.

Anybody with a plethora of Thanksgiving leftovers  – savoury, sweet or soup – are warmly invited to bring them along for the Hashers to devour and clear out your ’fridge.

Weather today Saturday a bit drizzly, but on Sunday light breezes from the upper midwest (just enough tae lift yer kilts and reveal if y'er wearin' panties or not) will maintain balmy Scottish midsummer temperatures of mid-high 50s, and surprisingly for Scottish summer weather – no rain

Here's tae us! Wha's like us?
Damn few, an' they're a deid!

Oan Oan, Jimmy!
